 BENGALURU: Former AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala, who was scheduled to be delivered on January 27 subsequent to serving a four-year prison term at Bengaluru Central Prison in an unbalanced resources case, has tried positive for Covid-19 and is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of Victoria Hospital, Dr Ramesh Krishna K, the emergency clinic's clinical director, said. 

The recurrent RT-PCR trial of Sasikala, who had tried negative on Wednesday on confirmation at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital and moved following day to Victoria Hospital following persevering fever and windedness, came negative on Thursday night.
